The Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Array (SZA)

SZA contacts at Columbia: Amber Miller, Stephen Muchovej, Tony Mroczkowski

Primary Goals: The SZA will  carry out a 12 square degree survey of distant clusters selected only by their mass, allowing us to learn about cosmological parameters from a unique look at the history of cluster formation in the early universe.  In addition, it will allow us to study cluster physics at redshifts inaccessible to other types of observations.
